Assault with a Firearm Suspect Apprehended

 

Sunnyside, WA- Yesterday with assistance from the Yakima County Violent Crimes Task Force the Sunnyside Police Department took Ramon Verduzco DOB 02/08/1989 into custody in connection with an assault with a firearm that took place in the City of Sunnyside on November 4th.

 

Shortly after 8 pm on November 4th the victim was driving in the area of North Ave and Victory Way when his car, a black BMW, was struck twice by bullets. No one was injured. Further investigation led Officers identify the suspect as Ramon Verduzco, DOB 02/08/1989. At that time Sunnyside Police Officers searched several residences and received assistance from Moxee Police Department looking for Verduzco in Sunnyside and in Moxee (where he also has connections) with no success.

 

Vereduzco was taken to the Sunnyside City Jail upon arrest and transported to the Yakima County Jail this morning.
