Robbery Suspect in Custody—Additional Information

Sunnyside, WA- Last night Sunnyside Police Officers were given information that at least one individual involved in the recent homicides in Grant County may be in the Sunnyside area. While investigating this information Sunnyside Police responded to a robbery in the 200 block of Yakima Valley Highway, the suspect in the robbery was believed to be traveling with the individual(s) involved in the recent homicides and additional people. Sunnyside Police located the group at a restaurant in the 400 block of Yakima Valley Highway and with assistance from Granger Police Department, Grandview Police Department, Yakima County Sheriff’s Office and Washington State Patrol quickly took the suspects into custody. They were transported to the Sunnyside City Jail where they are being held under investigation.
