Gang Reduction Initiative Meeting Next Monday
Sunnyside, WA- Monday November 2, 2009 at 630pm there will be a meeting at the Cornerstone Assembly of God, 400 North Ave in Sunnyside, to call for interested individuals, groups and community partners to join Deputy Chief Phil Schenck of the Sunnyside Police Department in a continuing discussion of the gang issues that are currently taking place in the City of Sunnyside. Discussed at the meeting will be the current projects going on in Sunnyside, future projects and possibilities and status of funding and resources.
Gang activity continues to be a pervasive reality in Sunnyside and something we deal with on a daily basis. We need to continue our focus on the good, quality projects currently taking place in the City of Sunnyside.
