Medic 17 is 2006 Lifeline Ambulance mounted on a Ford E-450 Chassis. This unit was designed by the Sunnyside Fire department and built by Life Line Emergency Vehicles, Inc in Sumner Iowa. This unit was put in service in November 2006. It is equipped with a Stryker EZ-Pro Rugged cot and Stair Chair for moving patients. It has the most up to date Cardiac heart monitor developed by Zoll Medical. Each monitor is 12-lead capable, and monitors blood pressures, oxygen saturation, and carbon dioxide out-puts of the patient.
