Ambulance (EMS)
The Sunnyside Fire Department’s EMS personnel are trained as both firefighters and emergency medical responders (EMTs). By cross training our staff we are able to provide a high level of service for the community very cost effectively.
Our staff is trained in EMS at the following levels:
1-Fire Chief EMT-IV/airway Tech.
1-Deputy Chief EMT-IV/Airway Tech.
1-Captain Paramedic
2-Captain EMT IV/ Airway Techs.
7- Firefighter/Paramedics
1-Firefighter/EMT Intermediate
1- Firefighter EMT IV/Airway Tech.
16-Vol. Firefighter/EMT Basic
3-Vol. Firefighter First Responders
5- Vol. Firefighters with Advanced First AidÂ
