When I went to get my burn permit they would not issue me one. Why not?

If you live within the city limits, or are in the urban growth boundary you are not allowed to burn and will not be issued a permit. HOWEVER, you are allowed to burn tumbleweeds that blow on to your property. A burn permit is not required, but you should contact the fire department at (509) 837-3999 and notify them of the address where the burn will occur.

Where can I get an agricultural permit?

All agricultural permits, special permits, and rules may be obtained from Yakima Regional Clean Air authority.

Is today a burn day?
