How do I purchase a dog license?

Dog Licenses can be obtained at the Sunnyside Police Department. More details are available on the Pet Licensing page.

How do I make a request for a police report?

If you are requesting a copy of a report prepared by the Sunnyside Police Department with regard to any incident investigated by the Sunnyside Police Department the following form is to be completed and left with the Sunnyside Police Department. 


If the Chief of Police or his designee approves the dissemination of the report requested, you will be notified by the Sunnyside Police Department to pick up the report at the Police Station.  If your request for the report is denied, you will receive a copy of this form with an explanation from the Sunnyside Police Department. THE COST FOR THE REPORT IS $.15 (CENTS) PER PAGE.  Requests will be answered within 5 days.

Yard Sale Permit

5.12.030 Permit Required. It is unlawful to conduct any yard sale without first obtaining a permit from the Sunnyside Police Department.  Yard Sale Permit

How do I get weather information and pass reports?

How do I get fingerprinted?

You can be fingerprinted by the Sunnyside Police Department on Wednesday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00pm.  You will be charged $10.00 per card.  This may be paid by cash, check or money order. Please have all paperwork ready to be mailed as print cards will not be returned. Please provide a large envelope, stamped and addressed.

How do I get a Concealed Pistol Permit?

Concealed pistol permits are issued through the Sunnyside Police Department.  You must live within the city limits of Sunnyside.  You must apply in person at 401 Homer St., Sunnyside, WA 98944.  If this is an original request, please apply on Wednesdays for fingerprinting. Fees
